I wish I could answer the question of when is the best time to have sex. Most of my friends and co-workers think I'm experienced; I'd never tell anyone that the total opposite is true. I am 31, and have a very successful career and I'm an okay looking guy. I've never been intimate with another person; I discovered masturbation at age 29. My religous convictions and fear of STD's had caused me to avoid sexual activity with another person; however, I'm not happy with or proud of this situation and I envy most teen and 20 year olds who have active sex lives. The single reason I continue to abstain is fear of STD's and intimacy. I have passed up countless opportunities. I'm seriously debating whether or not to seek counseling because I know that this is not a healthy lifestyle; sex is apart of healthy living. I just feel that I would be taking advantage of someone if I engaged in sexual activity with a person without a relationship/commitment which would make me personally a bad person. I don't knock others who engage in casual sex or think I'm any better than them. I think they are more honest with themselves than I am with myself.
