I currently prefer boxers.-----Wearing no underwear also works for me, as long as what I'm wearing is comfortable without underwear. Certain types of sportswear in particular are bad with underwear, and certain pants have uncomfortably hard labels that force me to wear underwear in them most of the time. For clothing that works well either way, I just go in what feels correct at the moment.-----As for variety, I tend to wear the same thing for a few years, as long as nothing forces me into another set of clothing.
