my wife and I both shave completly. we have known each other since we were 5. started to have sexual intercorse when we were 11 before we had pubes. when we started to grow hair (about 13yo) down there, it irritated our skin when we had sex, so we started to shave every day. have been doing it for 15 years.

Like others here, I first shaved when the first hairs appeared on and off for the first year. Since then, I have my pubic hair grow but keep trimmed to about an inch long and shaped into about a 3 inch by 3 inch mound with clean edges. My shaft and balls are shaved clean. I just prefer this looks for myself.

I remove every pubic hair at the insistence of my wife. She will not be intimate with me unless I am totally smooth. She, on the other hand, sports a nicely trimmed bush. The sex is great so I can't complain. What does bother me is the fact that all her girlfriends know that I am kept shaved. Yes, I shave my balls, shaft and pubes and I love the clean, smooth feeling. It's especially nice in the summer when I can wear loose fitting shorts and have a breeze blow up the pant legs across my bare balls. My wife and I are both 52 years old. She is clean shaven, and enjoys the look and feel. However, I'm not sure she would keep up the look if I didn't request it. I shave my entire body from the neck down, except for a small stubbly patch above my penis. I would prefer to get rid of that too, but my wife isn't crazy about that for some reason. I do end up allowing my body hair to grow back each year in anticipation of my annual physical. I'm not really sure why I do that, because I don't think my doctor would be judgmental about it. But I guess I would be somewhat uncomfortable if he saw me shaved. So obviously I don't share my clean shaved body routinely, locker rooms/gyms etc. I think we would be interested in visiting a nude beach sometime, where there would be an opportunity to hopefully be accepted even though shaved. But we are not actively pursuing it. I think that being shaved looks and feels great. Body hair is mostly a turnoff for me. I wish I could be more open and less concerned about what others might think/say about it. Obviously in the summertime people notice my shaved legs and I've not heard any negative comments (but I'm a pretty big bike rider so maybe that is why it's not an issue). Anyway, I personally think being shaved is the way to go and I look forward to keeping it that way.

I am 54 years old. I shave my entire body from the neck down. I have been smooth for 20 years I don’t care for body hair. My wife tried it once but did not like the up keep. I started with shaving leaving just a small patch above the shaft cut short then after a month I shaved it off so I have been smooth ever sense. I shave everyday in the shower I get wet then using baby oil apply a very thin coat to help razor glide over the skin I use the Mach 3 Power shaver now works the best with oils then after my shower I apply silk and smooth lotion. When I started my wife wanted to know why I told her that the hair made me feel dirty and the smooth feeling was so much better. I found when I shaved my legs it was cooler in the summer plus I need to use sun block because I am of fair skin and with the hair it took 3 times as much to cover my body. I did notice after I started to shave I seen more and more men that shaved their legs or just don’t have hair on them. I even started permanent hair removal starting my shaft after that was done I ran out of funds and I wish I had keep going it is so much smoother because no grow back. Well have a smooth summer for the people that shave and for you that like hair you have a good one to.
