I only shave a little bit above the penis because it makes it seem bigger. When I take some hair off above it it looks like it is bigger.

I remove all pubic hair from the genitals, bottom of my penis and along my bottom. In addition to this under the arms. My girlfriend insisted on this some time ago, and it became the thing to do although I did experiment with this during my late teens and early twenties. Although I have a different partner now she was at first amused by this but soon prefered it for oral sex, stating that if she ever gets another boyfriend she will insists he shaves off all pubic hair. It does feel more sensuous and not just when performing foreplay, The genitals in particular provide a smooth sensation when touched. It does cause me some embarrassment with group nudity, ie. health clubs and showers but this is disapppearing to some extent but perhaps only because no one says anything now. When having a routine medical examination last year I was supprised that I no longer felt the slightest embarrassment about being shaved of pubic hair whereas 10 years ago I was tempted to let it grow prior to the time of the medical examination.

I first shave my pubes when I was 21 and living with my firlfriend. I got a wild hair up my utt, pardon the pun, and saved it all in the shower. I actually discovered that shaving without shaving cream is easier and leaves you without shaving cuts or ingrown hairs. I do use a blade that has lubed strips at the top. Another positive for this is that my wife doesn't complain about hair in her throat when she goes down on me. I wish she shaved it all off for this reason.

I'm 47, and have shaved all of my pubic hair since puberty. I was in the British Army for 22 years and it never bothered me or any of my comrades. Some tried it themselves and a few of them (usually married so women must prefer it) stayed smooth. My wife also shaves, as does our son. I find the Gillette Mach3 best, every couple of days. For new shavers, cut it short with scissirs, then shave. Leave it for a week or so to settle down, then do it again. Leave it for another week, then it should be ok for every couple of days.

I shave the base of my penis to avoid pulling hairs out with condom removal. Also keep the hairs around scrotum trimmed down so they aren't scraggley. Occasionally (this week) do a complete shave of everything. It's a nice feeling.

I do this for 2 reasons 1 I have a long foreskin and if I don't trim they can get taught and it is rather uncomfortable. 2 Although my penis is now what I believe to be slightly above average in size (6.75inches) I was a late developer and was 15 before hitting puberty. I was made fun of as a result for having a small penis. Shaving helps it look larger. So as soon as I got hair I kept it trim to improve the look of my penis and balls.
